Our name comes from:
FREE REIN - unlimited freedom to act or make decisions.
Free Rein was born out of the idea that youth and young adults age 23 and under,
who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning,
and allies (their friends) could have access to and create their own
community.
Mission:
To create a safe and fun community for lgbtqa youth and young adults. We
are using technology to create an online community and chapters
that coordinate monthly social gatherings for Free Rein members. Also,
we will educate and advocate in all communities about issues
affecting the lgbtqa community. *Executive

Vision:
Providing resources
that enhance the lives of lgbtqa youth and young adults.
Members of Free Rein will have access
to resources to create the lives they want. They will not be stopped
in the face of uncertainty and fear. They will have access to a
community where respect, responsibility, self-expression, and fun
are present and honored. They will have resources to create and
develop extraordinary lives.
Free Rein’s 2006 Goals:
